Prices

Contact Lens Trial Fees:

We offer all patients who haven’t tried contact lenses before a FREE suitability appointment.

After this you will be charged just £5 per appointment for the remainder of your contact lens trial (until your optimum specifications have been determined by the Optometrist).  Most trials would probably require 4 or 5 visits.

Oakwood Eyecare provide you with free disposable lenses (and free solution if it’s required) for the duration of your trial. You also get free access to 24hr optometrist support if you need help any time, and this access continues for as long as you remain one of  our contact lens patients.

You can then choose whether or not you’d like to order lenses and which lenses you’d prefer from those we have recommended for you.

What next? – Aftercares:

Your eyes and contact lenses will require regular monitoring through aftercares.  You can either pay for these as you attend (currently £30) or join one of our monthly schemes to spread the cost.

Eye examinations are charged separately but you can choose to join our Total Eyecare scheme.

Our Contact Lens Prices

Being an Independent Opticians we are not limited as to where we can source contact lenses from, below are a small sample of the more popular lenses we supply but many other contact lenses are available, if yours are not listed or you would like a current quote please contact us.

Please note that prices are subject to change after publication (Jan 2018).

Daily lenses:

Great if you only want to wear lenses occasionally, or when hygiene and simplicity are a high priority.

Monthly replacement:

Cost effective when you are wearing lenses on a regular basis. Regular replacement ensures the lenses are never more than 30 days old, so hygiene levels are maintained.  A separate cleaning solution will be needed with these lenses. If you want to wear your lenses for long hours, possibly overnight, or you have had problems with standard lenses drying, extended wear monthly lenses may be the answer. Ask our Optometrist for more information on which lenses are suitable for your individual needs.
